Alternative Care

Care at Home

Operating since 1987 Alternative Care is a privately owned, local company working in Halesowen, Rowley Regis, Cradley Heath and Oldbury. We are on the approved list of care providers for both Dudley MBC and Sandwell MBC and are registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC). We are members of the United Kingdom Home Care Association and the West Midlands Care Association.

We aim to provide a flexible caring service tailored to the individual needs of each client, helping them to remain independent and living in their own home.

All care staff are interviewed and have to provide satisfactory references. The highest level of police and safeguarding checks are carried out on prospective staff before they commence work. Over 95% of care staff have completed or are working towards the level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care. Many have completed higher level qualifications specialising in caring for people with dementia. All mandatory training is provided for staff with regular updates and refreshers.

We would be delighted to discuss your specific needs. Please contact us by phone on the above number or by email at alternativecare@btconnect.com
